Last minute Marketing give-a-ways

I had a last minute invite to participate in an awesome dog event at a local waterpark.  I wanted to give-a-way something I could make and not have to worry about paying an arm and a leg for or meeting minimums or paying shipping, etc.  Well I came up with the perfect gift..A Koozie… this was perfect since the event was outside and people would want to keep their drinks cold….

I received many great compliments on my give-a-way and told many times it was the best gift they received.  It was something useful and they would use it again and again.

I was very pleased with the final result and all Koozies were given out…

Hobby Lobby Find..Iridescent Medium

I purchased this wonderful “find” a few days ago from Hobby Lobby…I love the clearance aisles there. This stuff doesn’t take a lot…and a little goes a long way….

I wanted to see what it would look like on some paper….I am wanting to make some paper flowers and roses with another find I purchased at JoAnn’s paper for 10 cents a sheet..

Is that a beautiful shade of purple?

Here are two photos of the Iridescent Medium.

Does this paper look fabulous.  It didn’t take any time for the paper to dry either…you can add the medium thick or thin it out with water…I did it two different ways one with putting the medium on the paper then added the water to spread it…second way was dipping the brush in water and then picking up some medium..which I liked that process much better.  I will add pics of the flowers after I have finished with them.
